The Inaugural Freedom Festival

The Margaret Thatcher Centre was thrilled to hold The Inaugural Freedom Festival in March 2023, in partnership with the University of Buckingham. The Centre was delighted to combine a network of organisations that share the Centre’s values. The two-day conference presented an important opportunity to combine educational activities with practical insights during a full-day conference followed by a gala dinner with Suella Braverman providing the keynote speech.

The Freedom Festival welcomed a host of modern-day influencers offering fresh perspectives to students and others eager to understand more about the life, values, and achievements of Margaret Thatcher. An emphasis on entrepreneurialism encouraged the audience to learn from the established entrepreneurs leading the talks.
