Join us on Tuesday 10 March 2026 at the Institute of Economic Affairs in Westminster for an in-depth examination of Sir Geoffrey Howe’s 1981 Budget – a courageous monetarist turning point in Lady Thatcher’s premiership that helped tame inflation and restore economic discipline amid recession.
Featuring contributions from the Rt Hon The Lord Lamont of Lerwick, the Rt Hon Sir Jeremy Hunt MP, and Sir Adam Ridley, followed by panel discussion, Q&A, and drinks reception.
